The idea for this site was to add a daily post about what I’d eaten, exercise done etc. for the day – to give me motivation to continue and persist with the diet, however it’s not been working (yet). I currently have a very hectic life. I contract 3 days a week in Cardiff, and then I travel up to my boyfriend’s on a Thursday night and return to Cardiff on the Monday night. Even though I’m away all weekend I work most of that, plus try and fit my dinner times around Dave’s schedule which, for example tonight, can mean dinner is made for 22:30 as he finishes at 10pm on a late shift. Of course this tends to throw out my whole day of eating properly.
Plus right now I cannot stand on my scales to get a proper reading as there are no hard floors in this house. In case you didn’t realise, a set of scales should be on the same platform and ideally a hard floor (no cushioning) to get the best reading. Going by the readings I had last week and this week in the same place (albeit a soft lino cushioning underfoot) I’ve apparently lost 2lbs. However I’m not going to take this as serious as I would rather get a piece of wood and stand the scales on those before believing any readings.
Regardless of my lack of dieting work I have still been eating fairly healthy. On the menu for tonight is Fish Pie, which I’m looking forward to.
