Yuk :(
I weighed myself this morning. It’s a horrible sight. I’ve not been too bad the past week, but well I guess I have. I had to go to Cardiff on Monday and stop down there for a couple of days, and then entertain Friday night as we had Dave’s sister over to stay.
I know I keep saying this but now I’m not feeling good at all, about myself or the way I look. I’m going to plan what I eat for the day in advance and stick to it. Count the GI points, stick to under 17, and behave. I still can’t see me having any time for the gym this week. To be honest I’m tempted to just phone up and cancel it. It’s £36 every month going out of my account and I’ve not been in over 3 months - that’s a lot of money.
I’m sorry to anyone who believes that you can always make some time for the gym. Well trying being busy and self employed. If I go to the gym I have to forfeit either shopping for some food or sleep. Because when I’m not out food shopping I’m either working or asleep. Oh with a little bit of cooking/eating in between there. If I go to the gym that’s 2 hours out of my day which I just don’t have spare right now. I think once the weather warms up a little Dave and I will try and go out more often, walking etc. but for now I’m just going to have to rely on my diet, my hula hoop and the stairs.
And while I’m at it, anyone who believes that once you get into your diet you’ll never crave the chocolate muffins, biscuits, icecream and Pizza that you once craved is talking a load of rubbish too. I’m sorry, I don’t care how much I diet or don’t diet, when I can smell freshly baked muffins when I walk into the supermarket I’m standing there almost tasting them in my mouth. There’s no way I’ll ever stop craving the foods that have got me into the state I am now. I know I just have to behave, follow my diet and be strong. I just need help from all angles and people around me, but it’s hard when you’re the only one dieting.
So on the menu for today I will have
Porridge and Tea (4 pt)
1 Kiwi Fruit (1 pt I think)
Pasta and green pesto with peppers (3 pt)
1 yoghurt (2 pt)
Grilled Plaice, veg, 4 new potatoes (5pt)
1 Banana (2pt)
Glass of milk (free)
that’s 17 points (if I’ve got the veg right). Plus I’ll finish the just opened 1.5l bottle of water today too.
For the record my weight is at X st 12lb, body fat at y4% so I’ve got a lot to lose.
