Day 2 Done

Well we’ve done 2 days quite successfully. Dave’s still making the odd remark about having to do it but he’s happy now that I’ve checked the book and ready that he could have up to 10 units of alcohol each week in addition to his Points. That’s 5 cans of lager.

However I’ve been hit with another head cold. I don’t know if it’s because it’s cold at night or just that I’m stressed, working all hours and run down. Or of course a combination of both.

So today I’ve not had much sleep, and I feel quite sick and have no appetite at all. I’ll probably try and use smoothies as food substitute as I really don’t feel like eating. At most I may have some scrambled egg later (why is it people eat scrambled eggs when they’re ill?!).

Yesterday’s menu was
Breakfast: High fibre wheat thingies (4 points)
Lunch: Homemade Chicken Soup, Slice of granary bread (3 points)
Dinner: Lamb medallions, veg, gravy. Slice of bread (5.5 points)

Snacks: Apple (0.5), Smoothie (2)

Glass of milk.
