Healthy Eating (again)
I’ve decided that trying to follow any sort of diet just isn’t going to happen. Why? Because I love food too much, and I’m cooking for more than just myself so I have other people to take into consideration. So my plan for the summer is to eat plenty of fruit and salad, drink plenty of water and get exercising.
The summer brings light meals anyhow, so that’s fairly easy to follow. I always have a bottle of water on my desk, and the summer brings the fruits I adore - strawberries, apples, pears, nectarines, raspberries etc. The summer also brings light late evenings, warm evenings and a time to go out cycling (still yet to buy bikes, long story but we’re still going to get them!). Once we have our bikes I hope to go out 2-3 times a week for nice summery rides, exploring the area as I myself don’t know much around here.
I also intend to start using my trampette properly, every day. I’m moving my computer and office gear downstairs for the summer as it’s warm in the bedroom. Which means I’ll go downstairs first thing and then I can start the day on the trampette before breakfast.
My aim is to lose a stone by the end of the summer, so that’s 4 months away.
