George Foreman Grill
I decided after getting back from my holiday in May, that I would start to make an effort to use my George Foreman Grill which Dave bought for me for Christmas. The result is that I’ve been using it 3-4 times a week and have to say I’m beginning to prefer using it. Why?
1. Knowing it’s healthier cooking is a start
2. It’s far easier to clean
3. It cooks food quicker (I’m very impatient when I’m hungry)
4. It’s more accessible than the grill/oven that’s low down
5. It’s fun to watch the fat and fluid roll out and into the drip tray!
We’ve used it for cooking steak (still overdoing them - working on the right time there), chicken breasts, bacon and sausages. The more I use it the more I prefer to use it, which, okay knowing it’s healthier (as healthy as the food we cook on it can be of course) helps but to be honest I think I would still use it even if I was a great old size 8-10 (and pigs might fly).
