Yo yo Weight

No I’m not going to start into a rap! Right now my weight is just yo-yoing in a half a stone range. It’s higher than usual and regardless of what I do it doesn’t seem to change much at all. Last week I’d lost 3lbs. Great, the first time for a while I’d been down that low, then this week it’s just gone back up by 2lbs.

We’re off to a BBQ today with my family, and then stopping and friend’s tonight so once I’m back from there then I’m drawing a line for the month. We’ve got just under 6 weeks before we go to Paris and I’m going to be good the whole time between now and then. My target is…

Start with the Kellogs diet (again). A bowl of Kellogs Special K for breakfast and lunch and then a good meal in the evening.
Go jogging on the trampete every morning.
Go out on our bikes at least once a week.

Even if I can get back to what I was I’ll be happy. A little more and then my clothes from last year will hopefully start to fit again too! I’ve packed most away in a suitcase, mainly because I’m not using them but also because I can’t fit into them.

So what do I need to stop buying and eating… Cheese. I’ll get the low fat (about 3%) version from Sainsburys as it tastes fine in cheese sauce. I don’t think it’s too bad on Fajitas either, however I shouldn’t be eating sour cream and low fat yoghurt on Fajitas just doesn’t cut it for me! So I guess that’s my favourite dish out the window for a while. We need to get back to the Chinese supermarket to pick up some sauces for noodles and rice as that’s probably the best thing to substitute fajitas with. The black pepper sauce I bought there, a Blue Dragon make that doesn’t seem to sell in the usual supermarkets, was just spot on, so I’ll be buying about 10-20 packs of that! It’s only 50p or so and does two of us which is fine.

So yes, come Tuesday this will all start. I’ll get back to posting on a daily basis to track my own progress and hopefully keep me motivated to do it.
