Growing Garlic and Shallots
This afternoon we popped to the Garden Centre (we being my Dad and I) to pick up some garlic and shallots ready for planting and growing. I’ve gotten a pack of 3 garlic heads for just £1.99. There were the choices of mild, medium and strong so I opted for the strong ones 
The pack of shallots were 10 for £2.99. Both packs I thought were pretty good value and will give us enough for planting.
So when we finally go back home (long story) we’ll get to work on digging over the area where the garlic and shallots are going and dig the ground over with some compost/manure and get the garlic and shallots planted as apparently the garlic tastes even strong when it’s planted in cold temperatures!
