The Diet Starts

Fruits Galore Now that December’s out of the way there are no bad foods around to tempt me back into bad eating habits and so, as with a lot of people I imagine, the diet and exercise regime starts. Okay it’s not a diet as in a fad diet, merely a change in what I eat plus exercise (which I don’t do much of!). The rules of eating are:
3 fruit and 5 veg a day
Little or no cheese and ideally low fat
3 meals a day
Less bread and more rice, pasta and potatoes
No alcohol (more due to health than weight loss)
No bad foods (cakes, crisps, biscuits, icecream etc)

And exercise daily. At the moment that means jogging on the Trampette for as long as my legs can last, I’m hoping that this will slowly start to help with my stamina and of course help a little on toning the legs. Whilst losing weight is a major issue and I do have scales, I’ll also be using clothes to see how well it is (or isn’t!) going. I have about 4 pairs of jeans which I can’t fit into at present and they’re all in varying sizes so they’ll be a good measure for me.

However I won’t be taking over the usual posts with all my diet ramblings so there shouldn’t be too much concern there ;)
