Well, I don’t tend to go into pound shops, but I doubt you’ll find a £120 knife set in there. You may find knives that look the same, but not of the same quality. I’ve got a couple of knife sets from Jean Patrique now and they are definitely a good, long lasting quality.
I stumbled upon this website (www.jeanpatriqueoffers.co.uk) last night and ordered the free 5-piece knife set. P&P was £7.95. Having read a few reviews I thought this was not bad. There were a few other offers which I didn’t take up this time. If they are any good I’ll go back as there was also a 3-piece set which I nearly bought. I’ll let you know what they are like when they arrive.
Which knife set did you buy as this post was about a 3 piece set, which I got and is very good quality (still boxed until needed mind).
I recently purchased the set of 3 knives at discounted price. I am really impressed with the quality and sharpness of these knives. Seriously considering the purchase of the 5 set on offer.
I ordered a set of knives 6 months ago, got an acknowledgment but no knives.
I suspect that if you order these knives without ordering something else, don’t try to hold your breath for them to arrive.

Hi Sam, I’m sorry to hear you’ve not received your order. I’ve purchased 3 sets of knives from this company over the last few years and never had a problem, all 3 sets were received. I assume you’ve contacted the company to chase up your purchase? It’s not the case, or at least hasn’t been the case that you have to purchase anything else to receive the offer. Things, of course, may have changed since my last purchase.
If they have charged you for your order then you definitely need to chase them. If you have an order acknowledgement then I would forward that on to them and ask them where it is.
I purchased a set of these knives about 8 months ago. All I can say is they are the best quality knives that I own. I use them daily and they are brilliant. I purchased them via a Daily Mail advert.

Sorry to hear that but you do realise this is a personal blog and I have nothing to do with the company in question?! Try reading my post and comments before making flippant and waste of time remarks.
Contact the company, use a bit of common sense instead of moaning about it here.
